Scott Freedman: Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Scott is our founder, our visionary, and our Sleepmaster General. Fifteen years in the apparel industry have helped hone his instincts for new, emerging consumer trends to a fine edge.

  • Created graphic and fashion designs that anticipated emerging consumer trends.
  • LA native with deep connections to business professionals, entertainers, and sports figures, from his years working with well known Kikwear endorsers.

Chris Riley: CEO

Former PepsiCo CEO engineered a $1Billion share holder value increase in the sixth largest PepsiCo snack unit globally. Experience in advertising domain having run Australasia and Europe for the 5th biggest media placement company globally. Consumer product strategist and execution experience leading and high revenue growth companies.




Joel MaHarry: Creative Director

Joel is the architect behind the Mellow brand. He leads our efforts in advertising, packaging, web and online marketing, social media, promotions, influencer marketing, and media relations.

Joel has more than two decades' experience developing brand strategy, marketing campaigns and creative for a variety of blue-chip brands. His experience spans consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, sporting goods, communications, high technology and destination marketing. As a creative director, he was key to launching Kodak into the digital age. As a brand strategist, he helped lead a re-branding effort for Downtown LA. High-profile brand experience includes Fujitsu PC, New Balance, NEC, HSBC, and Xerox. His work has been recognized by local, national and international competitions.
